18 pieces - approx. 13 x 8 cm per piece
Two games in one! A beautifully crafted Indigenous memory game featuring 9 native Australian animals, with an intricate colour pattern on the base. The other side of the pieces feature 18 Indigenous symbols engraved into the timber.
Test your memory by finding all the matching pairs. Every player has to try and remember where all the cards are. The winner is the player with the most pairs.
The skills developed with this game are visual spatial memory, gross motor skills and cooperative play. It also gives children an opportunity to learn about some of the animals native to Australia and an understanding of the symbols used by Aboriginal people to give meaning to the stories in their paintings.
This memory game comes in its own drawstring bag or as an optional extra, can be housed in a custom made timber box, engraved and printed with the Australian animals and design.

The best way to keep our raw timber resources and puzzles hydrated and well-nourished is with a natural oil or wax, like our handmade beeswax polish. Using locally sourced beeswax combined with organic coconut oil, it is not only completely non-toxic and safe for children, it also smells fantastic! Our beeswax polish is available for this item under Accessories and can be added to your cart before checking out.
